Profile

Ade Sanusi is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

He trained as a SHO in Pontefract and Dewsbury Hospitals and then became a Registrar at Barnet & Edgware General Hospitals. There he was able to acquire broad experience in general gynaecology and obstetrics including Colposcopy, Urogynaecology surgery and menopausal problems. Following this period, he then became a Senior Specialist Registrar at St George's Hospital, London.

He continued to carry out colposcopy, treat endometriosis and perform prolapse surgery. At St George’s Hospital, London he gained the Advanced Diploma in Obstetric Ultrasound under Professor Campbell. After 18 months he moved to Frimley Park Hospital and in November 2000 became Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust which encompasses Watford General Hospital, St Albans City Hospital and Hemel Hempstead General Hospital.

He was the Clinical Director for Gynaecology at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust until 2014.

Ade Sanusi has three children and his hobbies include keeping fit by jogging.
